Pamela Pouliot is the Manager, Cybersecurity at Trans Mountain Pipeline. With over 15 years of experience in industry she has worked in both consulting and full-time roles.

Pam holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and has robust IT and OT program development and execution experience across a wide range of industries including pipelines, oil and gas, power, utilities, software development, crown corporations, law firms and aviation. Pam’s leadership approach is to use a clear vision, effective communications, teamwork, and a strong personal drive to deliver business value and achieve goals. She understands the detail underpinning technology, the regulatory landscape, and the constraints of business. She takes pride in implementing practical and workable cyber security controls that effectively reduce risk and translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

With broad cyber security experience, some career highlights include assessing cyber programs (both IT and OT) at over twenty (20) organizations, facilitating a national tabletop exercise across the aviation industry in Canada, coaching multiple security professionals, building cyber programs including for OT power utilities with strict regulations, replacing security operations centers (SOCs) to improve detection and reduce cost burden for organizations, and she takes time to speak at events within the cybersecurity community.
