Ter Govang is a senior security executive with over 20 years of experience leading complex, large-scale programs. As Chief Security Officer for the Ontario Line in Toronto, she is accountable for the delivery of cyber and physical security across a multi-billion-dollar DBFOM transit infrastructure.
She holds three top certifications: ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP®), ACMP Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP™), and ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®).
Throughout her career, Ter has built and restructured security programs, aligning contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements. She works directly with executives and stakeholders to set governance, reduce risk, and improve security performance across interdisciplinary domains.
Her leadership has been recognized through multiple honours, including the ASIS Foundation Executive Scholarship at IE Business School in Madrid. Ter is a frequent speaker at high-profile events such as the Global Security Conference, ASIS Best Practices, and the NKST Summit Canada.
