With 25 years in Information Technology Leadership, Michelle has exceptional skills in building cohesive teams, designing impactful programs, and delivering essential services within technology-focused companies. Her leadership and communication abilities consistently foster collaboration among teams, driving them toward shared goals.

Michelle joined Humber Polytechnic in 2014 and spearheaded the creation of a project management methodology that has played a pivotal role in enabling the successful delivery of technology and capital projects. Her achievements led to her assuming the inaugural position of the Director of IT Security at Humber where she crafted a comprehensive security roadmap approved by executive leadership and IT Steering committees.

Beyond Humber, Michelle actively contributes to the broader cybersecurity community. by serving on the steering committee for the Ontario Cybersecurity Higher Education Consortium (On-Chec) and contributed to the Cyber Security Initiatives Deployment Committee for CanarieMichelle also enjoys serving the community by volunteering as a current Board member for Peel Cheshire Homes Streetsville.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. Her 20-year PMP certification underscores her commitment to excellence. As the head of the Information Security teamMichelle is focused on initiatives that will continue to enhance Humber’s security posture in an increasingly complex and ever-changing environment.
