Nazanin Bayati is an AI and cybersecurity researcher who recently earned her PhD in computer engineering from the University of Ottawa. Her research focuses on automating security testing procedures to improve efficiency and address the oracle problem in security testing.
She has worked on research projects in collaboration with both industry and academic institutions at an international level, including partnerships with BlackBerry and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability, and Trust (SnT) in Luxembourg.
Her research interests span automated software testing, with a particular emphasis on security, as well as applied data science and empirical software engineering.
