He has managed key security functions including vulnerability management, incident response, security architecture, disaster recovery, and security operations, ensuring alignment between cybersecurity initiatives and business goals.
He is recognized for combining strong technical expertise with business leadership, with a proven ability to build high-performing teams, influence stakeholders, and drive strategic outcomes. Beyond his corporate roles, TJ is a vCISO, CISO, speaker, career coach, DEI advocate, and AI evangelist who promotes inclusion, innovation, and professional development within the cybersecurity community.
He has made significant industry contributions, including founding ISC2 Saskatchewan and growing its membership to over 100 professionals, as well as creating GenX Defenders, a gamified cybersecurity initiative designed to inspire and develop the next generation of cyber defenders.
